This blog was made in December after this sweet couple received their images, but somehow it was never officially published! So here she is!! haha! <3

Meet Sarah + Patrick, two AMAZING human beings who are so down to earth and kind you just want to be friends with them… and their friends – They are all so amazing!

I met Sarah for a consultation while Patrick was deployed. We hit it off and next thing I knew they hired me to photograph their wedding! While my husband wasn’t deployed when we were planning, we were in different states, so I know how hard it can be to try and manage it all solo… but let me tell you what these two made it happen like CHAMPIONS! And with the help of the talented Dorsie from Creekside Catering, everything went off without a hitch!

Their wedding day was perfect! It was cloudy, but the rain stayed away, AND it was warm! Can’t beat that! <3

I met Sarah and her girls at Sarah & Patricks place, just before she got in her dress, then we head over to the Yorktown Freight Shed for their first look!!

First looks in public places are tricky, but thanks to beautiful Historic Yorktown, we had a little brick nook away from the weekend crowd!!! As soon as they saw each other I could tell they were relieved and all their nerves fell. They immediately started catching each other up on their mornings – it was freakin adorable!

Portraits were next, followed by their sweet ceremony and an awesome reception to celebrate! <3 They ended the night with a sparkler send off.

Perfect day for a perfect couple!
