My babies…

Aren’t babies anymore. 🙁

Okay, well they will ALWAYS be my babies, but you get what I mean.

No more diapers, no more pull ups, no more signs of baby in the Barnum house, and it’s so bitter-sweet.

Nick and I used to seriously talk about one day having twins… We thought it would be so cool. So, when we found out we were pregnant with twins we were SHOCKED. SO scared. SO excited.. just a roller coaster. In fact, the only time I threw up my entire pregnancy was the day we found out there were two instead of one. HAHAH!! It was just an emotional day and I was all worked up 😉

The day they were born our lives changed. In the most beautiful, amazing, crazy way possible.

Well, Today our precious angels are THREE. THREE YEARS OLD! That totally blows my mind.

The past three years have been so amazing. Not every day has been perfect.  But every day has been filled with beautiful chaos. Beautiful chaos I wouldn’t trade for ANYTHING!!!

Without Leah & Mason, our lives wouldn’t be as rich. Our days wouldn’t be as interesting. Our hearts wouldn’t be as full… These two tiny little humans have given us SO MUCH. I could never ever put into words how much we love and adore them.

AHHH! They are growing into the most amazing people.

Mason has the BEST sense of humor of anyone I have ever met. He is also so compassionate. If you’re sad, he’s your little man. I’ll never forget the time he hugged a sad woman in UPS. SERIOUSLY. She was so shocked and so grateful <3

Leah is so driven and passionate. Her determination blows me away… that, and her vocabulary. My goodness, that girl is a walking brain. Her sass keeps me on my toes, and her snuggles and sweet smile warm my heart.

I.Love.Them. hahaha!

Here’s a look at the last year through momma’s big girl camera (WAY too many iPhone photos to sift through lol)… Can’t wait to see what the year of double the 3’s has in store for us!! haha!! And am SO EXCITED their daddy will be home for it <3 <3

Today we went to breakfast, and daddy got to FaceTime <3 Then we hit up build-a-bear AND went and had cupcakes, where daddy ALSO made an appearance on the iPhone 😉 (hate deployments, LOVE technology!!) MISS YOU NICHOLAS!! Can’t wait to celebrate again when you return!
