K wrote me the day before she and M were going to elope, in hopes I would be available to capture it for them. I was standing in a line at Busch Gardens and found a way to work it out – right there. haha! Gotta love technology 😉

I met them the next morning at the Huntington Park Rose Garden in Newport News, along with K’s mom and her son, and the officiant.

It was a beautiful ceremony, and was followed by an hour of portrait taking around the park! It was so relaxed and fun. They are such a sweet couple. At the end I jokingly said “want to go ahead and trash the dress since we’re at the beach?” And she was ready to dive in!! HAHAH! I was kidding of course, but I loved her spirit! <3
