Oh, how I loved this Gloucester VA engagement session! It was cold outside, but we made the best of the weather and kept it warm and cozy inside (for the most part..)

It smelled soooo good and it was nice and toasty in their beautifully decorated room. AND Their white comforter showed ZERO signs of their beautiful blended 7 member family – I WAS IMPRESSED. hahaha!

We started their engagement session there in their cozy bedroom- Just laid back… smoochy facing with me standing over them- no big deal! hahah! That’s trust y’all They let the walls down and let me into not only and intimate moment but an intimate place, and that’s so special to me as a photographer!! <3

After we wrapped up all their indoor shots, we hit up the backyard! Normally, I try to only photograph around sunset, but thankfully their beautiful land provided tall trees to help give me nice light, and their CUTE AS ALL GET OUT chickens provided the soundtrack 😉 hahah! It was awesome!

 

These two were so easy going and fun to be around, and I am now EVEN MORE excited for their awesome wedding this year!
