Last night I visited a family for a quick gender reveal session. This morning I woke up to see the amazing amount of response to their little series of photos and it brought me so much joy. Then I realized last night’s little session was the 3rd time they were in front of my lens in the past 6 months. HOW AMAZING!!! Having returning clients makes my heart so happy.

I have a beautiful love and gift. And I AM SO blessed that I am able to use it to capture my own family as it grows… and SO thankful that other families invite me into their lives to do the same.

I hope all my clients know that I don’t just do this for money. YES, in order to run a business properly I must make money to stay alive. And, YES, I have little mouths I have to help feed… But, I take on the task of a small business owner, and I work HARD because I WANT to do this. I LOVE to do this.

I take what I do seriously. These are moments — Moments you can’t get back. You’re kiddos won’t be this little forever, and you and your husband will grow and change over the years. So preserving these times in your lives is important. It’s important to me that I do my job and give you the best I can.

This is a spontaneous blog. It wasn’t planned.  I just woke up and felt like I needed to say  how GRATEFUL I am for all of the people who have trusted me to be their photographer. <3 And for all the people who have supported me along the way.
