I have been dreaming of this since the twins were babies…

It was just never the right time.

They were too young, it was too cold….

But this year was THE YEAR to do this special Valentine’s Day shoot with them. Not too young to share a noodle, and not too old to totally gag at the thought 😉 SO WE DID IT!

With the styling help of Amanda from Greenhouse Picker Sisters and the assistance day of from my hubby and mother and father in law, we were able to make it happen… in like 30 minutes, I might add.

It was NOT what I expected… The day got away from me (We got a STUDIO — more on that to come) and then the sun started to sink, and so did my heart… but we chased that sun, unloaded the car, set up and got to work!

The kids LOVED it. They loved all the props Amanda picked out, and they REALLY loved those spaghetti noodles from Anna’s in Poquoson 😉

When they noticed the books they FREAKED out because “The doggies are sharing a spaghetti noodle like us!! Because they are best friends” … and THAT is why I wanted to do this with them. They have this beautiful relationship, a brother and sister bond like NO OTHER! And sharing a darn spaghetti noodle is just cute. HA!!
