New Home Lifestyle session, Norfolk VA Photographer

Allison contacted me after they purchased their first home and set up a lifestyle shoot! Such a special and exciting time for them, and I’m so glad she wanted it to be captured naturally and in the comfort of their new home. <3

Allison is also a photographer, so of COURSE I felt a little nervous to capture her family, but as soon as arrived they made me feel right at home.

Lifestyle sessions are SO amazing for so many different reasons, but their is a peaceful and natural tone about them that make them so enjoyable to do!

It was like I was just a friend hanging out in their house… but with a camera… in their faces. HAHA!!! Em showed me her disney pictures (like 5 times, but she’s cute so it was okay ;)), they read a story, drank hot chocolate, snuggled on the couch and we finished up jumping on the trampoline!

It was the perfect Sunday morning <3
